Documents and Presentations form the Annual General meeting are available in the DOCUMENTS section of the web site. A program for training modellers has been launched by EFDA and the task force has helped in defining projects (to be approved). A new call for participation in terms of Task Agreements has been sent by the Task Force Leaders to the Head of Research Units, responses are due for the 14th of December.

Release of the 2007 calls for participation to the Task Force ITM projects IMP1, IMP2, IMP3, ISIP, ITER-modelling. The calls have been sent to the Head of Research Units of the European Fusion Associations and the deadline for answering is the 20th of April.

The IMP4 meeting held at JET during the last week of January has delivered important results: the benchmark of the core and edge turbulence codes is progressing. The participants to the benchmark can now place the results of their runs on the TF- ITM repository in Garching https://itm.efda.org. To gain access to the web based repository it is necessary to set up an account by sending the request to Walter Schiller  (Walter.Schiller@efda.org). The GMV data structure for IMP4 has been defined and can be found at the IMP4 expert pages.

First working meeting for discussing Phase4 data structure with all the IM projects (the data structure has been strongly driven by IMP1 needs).  The status of IMP4 together with the specification of the UAL can be followed on the DCP pages in the expert area of this web site.

Michele Romanelli has officially replaced Howard Wilson as deputy Task Force leader. Howard Wilson is taking up a position as professor at the University of York, UK. The Task Force leader, Alain Bécoulet, has expressed his great appreciation for the excellent work Howard has done for the Task Force during his time as deputy leader.

The Task Force ITM invites the Assocations to propose the manpower for its projects for the coming two years. The main document describing this "Call For Participation" is available in the General Documents section of the restricted area. The project specific calls are also available in the restricted area in the corresponding subfolders.

The document relative to the constitution of pre-project teams for the definition of the Integrated Modeling Projects is available here. An updated version of the current working plan has been posted to the EGW1 page in the restricted area. The presentation concerning the pre-project teams given during the satellite meeting to EPS on June 29th is also available in the restricted area.

The ITM code platform definition draft document due by the 30th of June has been posted to the EGW2 page in the restricted area. Comments should be sent to Alain Bécoulet as soon as possible.

Addition to Restricted Area.

Some documents were added to the 'Documents' page. A new Restricted Area has been opened. It is accessible to all TF members. For a few days, a single login and password will be used. Later, a new authentication method will be implemented for which each user will have his own login and password. The current login and password has been sent to Contact Persons.
